Hi,
Two engines can be coupled up together to drive a kart. It would be a
lot of work driving the kart etc.
If the two engines were identical, then you could probably connect the
throttle cables together and put them into the accelerator pedal. The
same would go for the gear changing. You could connect up a mechanism
to change gears on the engine togethor. The kart should run fine as
long as the two engines are in good condition.

However, as for using two different engines, I dont know how you would
work out the throttle and gear change. You could try the same as
above. The worst that will happen, is that one engine is pulling down
the performance of the other engine.
