Hi Alexandre,
Thats great that you managed to build a kart.
Thanks for the pdf of the photo of the kart - I will put it on my website.
Your kart looks nice and light - hopefully you will get some good
experiences with it.
As for the brakes - you could modify pads off a car/ motorbike to suit
your own brake setup perhaps. The pads you are using look rather small
also - perhaps you could increase the size of the pads?
Anyways, thanks for the photo - its always nice to see how fellow kart
builders are getting on.

I'm french and I just achieved my kart. Thanks to your plans, it's a success
! I write you in order to thank you for publishing your plans on the web. I
really helped me. I've just made some modifications in order to adapt my
wheels and my moped motorengine.

However, I have some problems to install my brake. This brake comes from a
bike and the disc brake pad are too soft. They worn out very fast. I'll try
to find others.
