Hi,

The measurement you require depends on the size of the seat you have.

What you need to do:
1. Assemble and make the chassis.
2. Position the seat in approximately the correct location and secure
temporarily.
3. Sit into the seat.
4. Hold the steering wheel and in turn the Steering the steering column.
5. Find a comfortable height and position for the steering wheel.
6. Have a friend secure the steering column support to the chassis.

Hello, i've seen in kartbuilding.net <http://kartbuilding.net> your
plans and i'm going to use them to build my own kart and i've got a
question about one of the plans, in this scheme
(http://www.kartbuilding.net/racingkart/Free_Racing_Kart_Plans_PDF/Main_Kart_Complete_13_Steering_Column_and_Linkage.pdf)
the steering wheel isn't exactly in the center of the kart, it's a bit
moved to the left but i don't know how much it must be displaced. I've
sent you a photo with a red circle showing the measure i need.

PS. The plans are great, the best i've ever seen about how to make a kart
