Hi Kyle,

You are quite correct about the single gear direct chain drive.
I havn't however had time to write-up them pages however.
There's not much else to say about the direct chain drive, apart that
the sprocket on the rear axle needs to be 5 times bigger than the
sprocket on the engine, i.e. having 5 times as many teeth.

Bolt or weld the small sprocket to the engine as best you can, and
perhaps get a sprocket carrier for the rear sprocket. There are
details of this on the Off-Road kart section on my website.
