Thanks for your email.
Im glad you found the www.kartbuilding.net website useful. As for your 
query, I would start making the body first. Typically it takes a good bit 
of time to make a good solid chassis. The most time and effort should go 
into the chassis. Its possible that there may be several different engines 
used for the lifetime of a chassis/body.
