[Kartbuilding] go kart axle

Hi Nick,

Making the kart wider, and thus making the chassis more square shaped 
(looking from plan) may affect the cornering.
What you could do is to make the kart slightly longer. Ideally the 
wheelbase of the kart should be rectangular shaped. See:

I would say to try and make sure the weight is balanced and distributed 
evenly. This would be more important, than making the chassis 200mm (or 8" 
wider).
