Hi,

A 600cc engine is quite a beast of an engine! You will need to drastically 
increase the strength of the chassis. Use diameter 30 or 40mm tubing with 
a 3-4mm wall thickness.

It'll work, but the kart will be very heavy, and you'll need to reinforce 
everything.
