Hi Mike,

Thanks for your email. You're not the first person to ask about a 
two-seater go-kart. Unfortunately I don't have any plans or drawings on a 
2 seater go-kart. If you attempt to make the kart at 
http://kartbuilding.net/Freeplans/plans.htm  you may be able to modify it 
to have a wider seat to accommodate 2 people (as opposed to 2 separate 
seats).

I suggest you google for two-seater go-karts and see how you can adapt a 
standard kart plans to suit. E.g.
