Hi,

It is best to use a motorcycle engine (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorcycle_engine ) with 100cc or more.

These engines are very powerful and easy to setup, as they have a chain
and sprocket drive. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sprocket )
